Wool, a sacred material for the Amazigh (Berber) people, forms the cornerstone of Moroccan rug design. Durable, long-lasting, and soft underfoot, wool is both functional and comfortable. In this piece, the wool pile is expertly knotted onto a wool foundation, adding substance and allowing it to gracefully embrace the floor.

Locally sourced Moroccan wool produces a thick, strong pile with a soft feel underfoot. Having weathered time, this hand-processed wool exudes an untamed, nubby appearance, a testament to its journey through diverse environments.

The entire process - from setting up your loom, to weaving your rug, to washing and drying, takes 6 – 8 weeks. Rugs 8' x 11' and larger can take extra time. Once shipped, your order should arrive within 4 to 7 business days. We provide tracking numbers for easy package monitoring.
